Young Master, Stop Pretending, All Your Gu Worms Say They Like Me - Season 2
To save her unconscious master, the young herbalist Yun Zhi is pushed by her wicked senior sister into the Forbidden Forest of Ten Thousand Gu, where no one is said to survive. Instead, she discovers a wondrous sight: adorable little gu creatures everywhere clamor for her affection. Wu Lan, the cold-faced, sharp-tongued young master of Ten Thousand Gu Valley, keeps his distance in public but secretly protects her, while the gu creatures humiliate her wicked senior sister in front of everyone. Wu Lan carries a sealed Love-Devouring Gu within him; whenever he falls in love, its backlash causes him excruciating pain, so he deliberately pushes Yun Zhi away. The little gu creatures repeatedly give away his feelings and bring the two together, leading to the truth that Yun Zhi is the reincarnation of the Gu Goddess and that she and Wu Lan were bound together in a past life. When the Gu God Temple stirs up trouble, they protect each other. Yun Zhi awakens the ten thousand gu, breaks the curse, and stays with Wu Lan for the rest of their lives.
