The Stolen Overtime Pay
During China's National Day holiday, boss Gu Wanning approves generous overtime pay and benefits for her employees. Yet the employees receive only meager wages and take to the internet to accuse their heartless boss. Gu Wanning investigates and discovers that her childhood friend and general manager, Lin Hao, has colluded with finance officer Shen Nian to embezzle tens of millions in employee wages and benefits. Gu Wanning gathers evidence and reports them to the police, leading to their arrest. She sells her own property to repay all six years of unpaid wages, overhauls the company's compensation system, and wins back the trust of all her employees.
