Post-Marriage Acting Grand Awards
To retrieve her mother's heirloom, Jiang Nian is forced to marry in place of another into the Gu family, rumored to have an eldest young master Gu Yanci with paralyzed legs. Bringing along her hamster 'Big Brother', she storms into the Gu family. Acting decisively and fiercely, she slaps the faces of her step-sister from the Jiang family and the various relatives of the Gu family one after another, subduing the entire room in just a few moves. Gu Yanci sits in a wheelchair pretending to be disabled on the surface while laying out plans in secret, watching coldly from the sidelines with his white cat 'Big Sister', yet repeatedly condoning Jiang's outrageous actions and even stepping in to protect her. The two probe each other, see through each other's secrets, join forces to take down Gu Mingyuan and expose the Jiang family's conspiracy, and take back the heirloom. On their return trip, they are ambushed by a two-headed snake assassin, discovering they are investigating the same old case, and thus strong-willed allies join hands, growing closer to one another.
