Chief Councilor, Do Not Chase Anymore - Season 1
Xu Qingwan is reborn. In her past life, she misplaced her deep affection and was imprisoned by Chief Councilor Shen Guanyan in a cold, secluded courtyard. Suffering year after year, she ultimately met a lonely end with no freedom until death. Living a new life, she severed past ties, personally burned their childhood engagement contract, and desired only to stay far away from Shangjing, escape his control, and live out the rest of her days in peace. Yet, destiny's entanglements refuse to cease; Shen Guanyan repeatedly appears, saving her time and again from desperate perils. Behind his gentle shelter lies a step-by-step, forceful imprisonment. She desperately dodges and flees, while he is obsessive, proactive, and closes in step by step. Everyone in the world says she is a caged bird under his control, but in this lifetime, amidst the floating and entangling currents, who on earth is the one trapped in the cage of emotional destiny?
