Seventy-year-old veteran painter Zhou Yanshan, troubled by hand tremors, was long unable to complete his lifelong wish, "The Hundred Cranes Painting." One day, A Ling, the paper crane on the folding fan, awoke with the wind, taking him to revisit the reed marshes, stream banks, and sunrise places of his youth sketching days.
