Lu Chen, a scientist from the modern world, travels back to ancient times during a time-space experiment accident, losing most of his memories and sense of taste. After being saved by Xiao Man, a village girl, he discovers that his body was modified and possesses extraordinary strength. As his memory gradually recovers, Lu Chen discovers he is "Executive 001" created by the Time-Space Administration. Xiao Man is not an ordinary village girl either, but the "Daughter of Time" connecting the past and future.
