Hail Damages Mid-Autumn Crabs, The Whole Village Cries And Begs Me To Take Over
During the Mid-Autumn crab season, buyer Wang Bing predicts a cold wave and hail, returning to the village to introduce a guaranteed price acquisition plan urging villagers to sell their crabs early to avoid risks, which is resisted by fish farmer Chen Youcai and internet celebrity Lin Hao. The two live-streamed to advocate hoarding crabs to drive up prices, inciting villagers to breach their contracts, while Chen Youcai secretly sold his own high-quality crabs. When the hail struck, crab ponds suffered massive yield reductions, and Chen Youcai's uncle and nephew incited the crowd to corner Wang Bing, whose conspiracy was exposed by evidence, resulting in public disgrace after their wrongdoings were revealed. Wang Bing put aside personal grievances to help villagers stop their losses, taking the lead in establishing an aquaculture cooperative to lead everyone toward standardized farming and steady income growth.
