Half a Bowl of Noodles, Tens of Millions in Gold (40 episodes)

Twenty years ago during a heavy blizzard, orphan Meng Zekai clutched fifty cents begging for a bowl of beef noodles. A warm-hearted noodle stand couple gave him half a bowl of noodles and an egg, telling him never to pay again, which saved his life. Twenty years later, he returns as head of the Meng Group, searching everywhere for his saviors in vain. On a rainy night at a street market, a bowl of bone broth beef noodles brings back that familiar taste—the stall owner turns out to be Xu Zhiwan, his benefactors' daughter. Her mother suffers from severe heart failure and lacks one million for surgery, while her father works hard at construction sites to earn money. Meng Zekai pours ten million into the hospital, charters planes for top global experts, and vows to shoulder everything for them. But why did his benefactors' family suddenly move away back then? An uncle's scheme is just coming to light.
