He and the Gods Descended at the Same Time
Pei Xuan, the Heavenly Clan's God of War, was wounded during the great battle between the Heavenly and Demon Clans when Yan Li, the Demon Princess, stabbed him with the God-Slaying Sword stained with demonic blood. He became half-god and half-demon, wandering the mortal world for ten thousand years, solely to find the princess's reincarnation and have the sword in his chest removed. Ten thousand years later, he encounters Su Lili, a fallen heiress from a wealthy family, who is none other than Yan Li reborn. The two face plots against them by a stepmother and stepsister, as well as harassment from her former fiancé. With the help of Si Xiaoshuai, the Immortal Lord in charge of fate, they gradually fall in love amid suspicion and entanglements. However, they discover that removing the sword will cause Pei Xuan to die and his divine soul to be destroyed, while leaving it in place will cause Su Lili to suffer a deadly backlash.
