In the year 3422, the sub-light spaceship Expedition awakens prematurely due to a hibernation pod malfunction affecting Captain Wang Xiaoning. He unexpectedly encounters Aliluya, an alien woman from Planet Gariyana. Having deciphered the 'Sounds of Earth' gold disc, she came for friendly cultural exchange, only to be stranded when her own spaceship broke down. Displaying black hole traversal technology and a 5,000-year lifespan that far surpass Earth's, Aliluya assists in repairing the hibernation pods and becomes an eternal partner to the android Jigu. As the crew navigates interstellar space, deep homesickness intertwines with existential confusion—while the affections of three men toward Aliluya and Zhang Meili's jealousy add warmth and humanity to their cosmic journey.
