At twelve years old, Xu Qinghe met the youth Chen Zhou in an unfamiliar village. Chen Zhou protected her all the way so she could return home safely, and even gave her his precious one hundred yuan for travel fare; Xu Qinghe left behind a silver necklace engraved with a small moon, promising to return and find him once she grew up. Ten years later, Xu Qinghe, now an accomplished woman, returns to the old place with the old banknote, searching for the boy from back then by tracing fish stalls, the silver necklace, and her memories. Layer upon layer of clues finally lead the two to recognize each other, reconnecting their decade-long promise and letting kindness, kept promises, and gratitude continue to shine through the years.
