High-Altitude Terror, Yet They Say I Was Playing Hide-and-Seek
During the National Day holiday, Song Yin, her husband Lin Xu, her older brother Song Chen, her childhood friend Jiang Ci, and her best friend Lin Weiwei went to an amusement park together. The drop tower suddenly malfunctioned and got stuck sixty meters high in the air. Over forty minutes, she waited for three rescues: her childhood friend put the oxygen mask on her best friend's face, her older brother carried her best friend away, and her husband, to retrieve her best friend's designer bag, pried open her fingers as she begged for survival. Song Yin passed away due to asphyxiation from an acute asthma attack. When her family rushed to the forensic center, they discovered she had tried everything she could to call for help. Public condemnation and accountability followed one after another; full of lifelong regret, they could never buy back her life.
