I Fronted 68,000, and No One in the Entire Company Admitted It
Tao Ran, an administrative assistant, is publicly asked by her supervisor, Qian Xiaolei, to front 68,000 yuan for a company team-building event, with a promise that she will be reimbursed afterward. But when she submits the reimbursement claim, it is rejected. Her supervisor denies ever making the promise, while her colleagues look on indifferently. The 68,000 yuan is the money she painstakingly saved to pay for her mother's life-saving surgery. With no one willing to speak up for her, she decides to investigate on her own. Starting with a payment that was rejected but nevertheless disbursed, she uncovers two shell companies, 21 fraudulent payments, and a financial black hole totaling 629,000 yuan. Screenshots, system logs, transaction records, and audio recordings provide evidence for every step. She is not doing this to get revenge on anyone; she simply refuses to leave her innocence for others to prove.
