The couple enjoys a peaceful life together, until street thugs, an upscale flower shop manager, and an arrogant rich heiress repeatedly harass and humiliate Su Nian. Even her materialistic family pressures her to marry a wealthy businessman to settle their debts. None of them knows Lu Yan's true identity, and they continue pushing the couple to their limits. When the Lin family joins forces with over a hundred gangsters to smash up the flower shop, Lu Yan finally reveals his true power. A thousand elite soldiers under his command appear, and everyone responsible for the wrongdoing is punished according to the law.
