Lin Die's paintings and her guaranteed admission to an art academy were stolen by Lin Yaxin and her biological father, Lin Qingshan. After her hands were injured, she lost the chance to pursue a life in painting and eventually passed away. Her works were secretly kept by the Lin family for twenty-five years. Her son, Liu Changfeng, serves as a judge for an art competition and discovers that a younger member of the Lin family entered a competition with a ghostwritten painting. The family uses various forms of pressure and spreads rumors to cover up its past wrongdoing. At a live-streamed press conference, Liu Changfeng presents notarized evidence and reveals the truth. In the end, Lin Yaxin publicly apologizes and restores the paintings' rightful attribution, while Lin Qingshan resigns from his industry position and permanently withdraws from art judging. After twenty-five years, the long-buried injustice is finally brought to justice.
