Eight Years of Romance, In the End, a One-Man Show
Zhou Yang was in love with Pei Ziyi for eight years, standing by her side as they built a company from nothing, only to suffer her merciless betrayal. Pei Ziyi promoted her junior schoolmate, Lin Chen, and put him in charge of the company's finances, slashing Zhou Yang's salary to just 300 yuan, stripping him of his position, changing the locks to drive him out, saddling him with a 30-million-yuan loan, and demoting him to a security guard to humiliate him at will. Only when Mr. Wang of Tianyu Group appears is Zhou Yang's hidden identity as the heir to a top conglomerate revealed. All along, he had been anonymously injecting capital into the company and resolving its crises, only to be treated as a mere tool. In the end, he strikes back decisively, makes the betrayers pay a heavy price, reclaims everything, returns to his family to take charge of its business empire, and puts this absurd past firmly behind him.
