Shen Yan, a senior mechanical engineering student with a three-generation family heritage of coroners, witnesses female student Su Qin fall to her death. Spotting strangle finger-marks on her neck through a telescope, he is convinced it was never a suicide. After the university issues a suicide notice and her family swiftly signs organ/body donation papers, Shen sneaks into the anatomy building late at night to examine the body, only to be caught red-handed by law enforcement officer Wen Xia. The two strike a deal to fake being a couple and secretly probe the truth. Following the name 'Gu Huai' carved under Su Qin's fingernail, they unearth an illicit organ transplantation ring lurking under the campus. As they infiltrate B17 in the core of the old swimming pool, they uncover the chilling pipeline running from health checks to staged fatal accidents, walking straight into a deadly crisis.
