Shen Wei, a young man from the modern world, transmigrates into a fantasy cultivation world and becomes the legitimate son of a prestigious cultivation family. With the help of an independent learning space, he dedicates himself to arduous cultivation. Extraordinary phenomena appear even before his birth, and the moment he is born, he is taken as a disciple by Sword Venerable Yun Feiling. Because he possesses the Truth-Seeking Eye, which allows him to see through the essence of all things, he must wear a mask in public. At the age of five, Shen Wei discovers that this world is home to numerous children of fortune, and that only by becoming the strongest can he survive. To protect himself, he accompanies his master on various trials, where he encounters Rong Minghui, a young man whose fate has been full of hardships, in a dungeon. The two gaze at each other through the bars, bringing the story to a temporary close.
