Heiress to America’s most powerful family and a legend of commerce who has shaped major financial conglomerates worldwide, Lillian Carter disguises as a janitor in Manhattan’s preeminent Dawson Group, scorned by her husband and mother-in-law. After the divorce, Lillian reclaims her queenly aura. Strong-willed and unafraid of power or challenge, she is favored by God and a rose with thorns. The stark contrast after her divorce leaves her ex-husband reeling and sparks the curiosity of the Dawson Group’s CEO, Charles Dawson, who remains unaware of her true identity.
