A Jiao, a pig spirit inspector, noticed the eerie purple powder left at the scene, secured a three-day deadline to investigate the case, and teamed up with Ling Yan, a spiritual cultivator who had just arrived in Ancient County, Tuan Zi, and others to investigate. Tracing clues from toxic flower nectar and the black market through dangerous trials, they discovered that Hui Ya, a wolf spirit, had been framed. Venturing deep into South Mountain, they found evidence of the Liu Mansion producing poison, but were surrounded and cornered step by step by Deputy Director Liu Sijian, and the physical evidence was destroyed. When A Jiao sneaked into the Liu Mansion to search for clues, she unfortunately fell into a trap and was poisoned. Liu Sijian intended to execute A Jiao publicly, but the scene was filled with wild, fierce floral poisonous fog, large numbers of citizens went mad one after another, the situation completely spiraled out of control, and a much larger crisis suddenly erupted.
