I Cooked for Free for a Year, Yet They Actually Forced Me to Pay Them Back
Lin Ya cooked for her roommates for a year, charging each of them just 500 yuan a month. However, when a new roommate, Chen Ke, suggested that her boyfriend could cook for everyone for free, the roommates began questioning the expenses and demanding refunds. Lin Ya organized all the receipts, calculated the costs, refunded the unused money, and moved out. She then opened a home-style food stall next to an office building. As her business gradually took off, Chen Ke stole photos of her dishes to attract customers. Lin Ya presented evidence to expose the truth and protect her reputation.
