I Dismantled the Goji Berry Drying House for the Whole Village
Gao Yuan invested 600,000 yuan of his own money to build a goji berry drying facility on his land, making it available for the entire village to use. After two years, at the profit-sharing meeting, he was told by the cooperative chairman, his own paternal uncle Gao Mingde, that his dividend was zero. The 600,000 yuan had supposedly been fully offset as equipment rental fees. The villagers all sided together, insulting him as nothing more than a salaried technician. Gao Yuan left with a cold smile. The next day, four cranes drove into the village. When the police arrived, Gao Yuan presented his property ownership certificates, proving that both the land and the equipment belonged to him. The cranes tore down the drying facility's sign, and the equipment was hauled away.
