I Grew Wealthy Flowers on Scorched Earth
Farmer Zhang Yuan collaborates with the Provincial Pharmaceutical Research Institute, painstakingly cultivating a new variety of Bletilla striata over three years, which serves as the core raw material for a special medicine to treat lung diseases. However, Lin Yue, who claims to be an elite student from an agricultural university, slanders it as useless weeds, leading the entire village to burn the fields and banish him. Lin Yue instigates the villagers to switch to growing shed mushrooms, but unexpectedly, mold spores break out, causing a collective infection across the village, while the life-saving medicinal material is precisely the Bletilla striata they burned with their own hands. Zhang Yuan successfully revives the crop using a charred black residual root, and his R&D patent is valued at over 100 million. People who bullied him in the past line up to beg for help on their knees, while Lin Yue suffers complete ruin and is imprisoned after her lies and evil deeds are exposed.
