I Guarded the Orchard for Twenty Years, My Mom Thought My Monthly Salary Was Three Thousand
Chen Mo dropped out of school at eighteen, sacrificing his education to support his younger brother Chen Hao's studies. He buried himself in farming for twenty years, silently contributing to his family while intentionally pretending to be an ordinary orchardist with a meager monthly salary to outsiders. Chen Hao's greedy family was unsatisfied and coveted the 300-mu orchard he had painstakingly built. When their mother fell ill and was hospitalized, Chen Mo single-handedly bore the huge medical expenses, yet still suffered suspicion and schemes from his sister-in-law Zhao Li. After the truth was uncovered, facing his family's endless demands, Chen Mo no longer backed down blindly. He guarded his orchard and hard work, awakened his lost younger brother, untied the family knots of many years, and finally reaped his own warm and comforting destination.
