I Only Want to Sleep, Your Majesty, Don't Select My Name
Shen Chuliu transmigrates into the body of an orphaned young woman from the Jing'an Marquis's residence. Upon entering the palace, she is immediately granted the rank of Baolin, yet she spends her days doing nothing. Dance in the imperial garden? She might suffer heatstroke. Embroider something to please the Empress? It would hurt her eyes. Even the Emperor finds her too lazy when he secretly listens in on her conversations. Yet she dares to slap Miaoyi, whose rank is higher than hers, and uses her sharp tongue to emerge unscathed from a frame-up, earning an immediate promotion to Cairen. While the imperial concubines fight viciously among themselves, she watches like an uninvolved spectator. But the Emperor's gaze grows increasingly fixed on her. Is her lack of ambition simply disdain for the palace struggle, or is she hiding another plan?
