I Opened a Family Card for My Sister, and As a Result I Was Forced to Debut
Programmer Chi Yanbai opened a family card for his younger sister Chi Tangtang, unexpectedly finding that she spent 87,000 on stanning and tipping her idol Ling Yichuan in eighteen days. To wake his sister up, he made a thirty-day debut bet: if followers broke ten thousand, his sister would sell her merch; if he lost, he would fork out another hundred thousand. Relying on clumsy dancing, spreadsheet breakdowns of stanning expenses, and low-pitched cover songs, Chi Yanbai quickly went viral and gained followers, yet provoked agency review control and legal threats. He publicly invited a live-stream connection to discuss the boundaries of fan consumption with Ling Yichuan. Ling Yichuan advised rational stanning, and Chi Tangtang came to her senses. Chi Yanbai refused commercial opportunities, returned to being a programmer, and set a reasonable monthly limit for the family card.
