I Rely on a Rural Caravan, with a Pot of Leftovers Feeding a Hundred Thousand Army
Rural chef Lao Zhao, whose wages were docked by a black-hearted middleman, drives a caravan with his nephew Xiao Gang and mistakenly stumbles into an ancient wind-and-snow pass. A pot of pork stewed with vermicelli saves the grain-starved Zhenbei Army, and he is revered as the "Star Lord." After discovering he can travel back and forth between the two worlds, he trades antiques for funds, continuously transporting grain, cotton clothes, medicine, and modern equipment into ancient times to help Huo Changfeng defeat the enemy, resist the imperial court's grain seizure, and overthrow the fatuous ruler. Afterward, he builds a mechanized army, defeats the Northern Di, sweeps across the Southern Chu, supports modern industry with ancient resources, and rises from a bullied cook to the behind-the-scenes overlord dominating both worlds.
