At Lin Wan's birthday banquet, her parents gave her a two-million-yuan property. Her adoptive brother Lin Qiang and sister-in-law Wang Li immediately turned hostile, taking turns staging fake illnesses, fake pregnancies, and the severing of ties. Lin Wan systematically countered every move, publicly exposing the fake medical records and parachuting into their company to fire the slacking sister-in-law. Her brother and sister-in-law had their property mortgaged and were scammed out of 1.6 million yuan, ending up in urban villages doing manual labor to pay off their debts. On New Year's Eve, Lin Wan and her parents reunited in the new home, while her brother and sister-in-law could only eat instant noodles across the fireworks, regretting their past actions immensely.
