A modern corporate drone transmigrates into Lin Yuan, the terrifying Sect Master of the Demon Sect feared by everyone, and gets bound to a Good Deeds and Virtue System—forced to perform good deeds instead of acting like a demon. His chief disciple, Chu Yun, is a master of overthinking and constantly rationalizes his master's actions, sparking endless comedic misunderstandings. Beginning with the forced release of the righteous Saintess Qingyue, Lin Yuan sets off on a journey to resolve the feuds between good and evil, reconcile humans and demons, and battle an ancient lurking demon force. While struggling with the system's compulsory tasks, he unravels a monumental conspiracy of the Supreme Patriarch using beast sigils to sacrifice all living beings for ascension and the demon Wusheng attempting to break its seal. Joining forces with the righteous path, mortals, and some demon clans, he embarks on a path to save the world.
