I Watched My Best Friend's Shop for Half a Day, and When Money Went Missing, She Searched My Bag First
One day, Gu Nian agrees to help look after her best friend's shop, only to be publicly accused by her longtime friend of stealing money. The humiliation of having her bag searched in front of everyone leaves Gu Nian disgraced, while her coworkers at the mall and even regular customers begin to suspect her. Rather than crying or defending herself, she quietly preserves evidence, checks the accounts and surveillance footage, and exposes the truth: her best friend and her boyfriend have been manipulating the accounts and shifting the blame onto her. With hard evidence, Gu Nian turns the tables and settles every outstanding personal debt.
