Lin Mo, a mortuary makeup artist at a funeral home, repairs the remains of an unidentified female corpse sent in late at night due to a car accident. Her right cheek is collapsed, and he spends four hours piecing it back together bit by bit. As he leaves, he whispers, "Girl, get a good rebirth in your next life." The next day, she turns out to be Shen Niannian, the most cherished daughter of Shen Wanshan, the billionaire chairman of the Wanshan Group. Yet on the night of the makeup, Lin Mo discovers blue car paint under her fingernails, a twisted earring dropped from her palm, and half a bloody paper reading "Do not believe." The seemingly accidental car crash hides untold secrets.
