While working overtime tweaking data for a giant cat, Ji Nian accidentally enters the Xianxia game she helped develop. Her test account is already max level, but having skipped the path-selection tutorial, she has zero spiritual power and no skills—and the log-out button does not work. Joining a sect party, Ji Nian provides unlimited gold and Moon Pearls for supplies, exploring dungeons and investigating map and quest glitches alongside her teammates. By day, she and her sect members look out for one another; by night, as everyone logs off, she remains alone in the game compiling bug fixes and searching for a way back to reality.
