I Work Nine-to-Five and Leave on Time, The Boss Panics
Project Director Shi Yun worked overtime until the early morning. Just because he brewed a cup of instant noodles at his workstation, the newly parachuted female director publicly deducted one hundred thousand from his commission. Eight years of dedicated overtime went unmentioned, but a cup of instant noodles turned into a felony. His heart went completely cold, and from then on he strictly worked nine-to-six, ignored client messages, did no extra work, and left as soon as time was up. Yet, holding over sixty percent of the company's core clients, the moment he lay flat, orders worth hundreds of millions flew away, throwing the entire company into complete chaos. By the time the director bowed her head in submission and the boss personally tried to retain him, he only coldly said: Return my one hundred thousand first.
