Qin Ming wakes up one day to find himself transformed into a young manor lord during the Zhenguan era of the Tang Dynasty. Faced with barren farmland and the challenges of harsh winters, he introduces winter wheat cultivation, greenhouse vegetables, tea roasting, winemaking, and improved farming tools. His innovations quickly transform the once-dormant Qin Family Manor into a thriving estate. He also takes in displaced refugees and gathers talented people from all walks of life, turning a small manor into a new home that everyone dreams of. Angesichts unfruchtbarer Felder und der Herausforderungen des strengen Winters führt er den Anbau von Winterweizen mit zwei Ernten im Jahr, den Anbau frischen Gemüses in Gewächshäusern, das Rösten von Tee, die Herstellung von Alkohol und die Verbesserung landwirtschaftlicher Geräte ein. Durch seine Neuerungen blüht das zuvor heruntergekommene Gut der Familie Qin rasch auf.
