I Turn on a Desk Lamp at Home, the Neighbor Targets My Whole Family
My son turned on a desk lamp to study for the college entrance examination. Neighbor Zhao Xiaoyan complained the light was dazzling, and came to my door forcing me to turn off the light. Ringing the doorbell at 3 a.m., cutting off the electricity meter, pulling the whole building's main circuit breaker, and even using a slingshot to smash my window, mistakenly smashing a neighbor's glass. Property management only muddled things through; her husband is a property management executive, boasting that he calls the shots in this residential area, and in turn fined me ten thousand. I didn't argue or make a fuss, installed compliant surveillance, kept all evidence, and posted it online. The whole residential area voted to change the property management company. On the day her whole family moved away, she lowered her head and said one sentence: I was wrong.
