The Child in the Mountains
Six years ago, Xiang Nan left the mountains to study abroad, leaving behind his elderly parents and his beloved girlfriend, Xue Mengyao. Six years later, he returns to his hometown as the richest man in the country, only to discover that Xue Mengyao has long been missing. After considerable effort, Xiang Nan finally discovers that Xue Mengyao was kidnapped and sold, subjected to terrible torment, and left mentally unstable. Xiang Nan refuses to give up on her. He takes Xue Mengyao from place to place seeking medical treatment. Finally, after overcoming numerous trials, her mental condition begins to improve, and their love reaches a happy ending.
