Everyone was afraid of the wicked, but only Xiaocao secretly brought her food and passed on clues time and again. Her parents searched thousands of miles for their daughter, and the villagers went from silence to standing up. Eventually, Shen Zhiyi escaped alive and also brought home the child who had once saved her. Years later, she established the "World Without Abductions" Foundation, wishing only that there would be no more separation of flesh and blood in this world.
