Jade Mountain in Chaos: The Powerful Minister Bows to You
In her previous life, Pei Jingxu waited three years for her fiancé, Rong Xuanzhou, who was supposedly killed in battle. Instead, he returned to the capital in glory with Bai Shutong, leaving Pei Jingxu the laughingstock of the entire city. She eventually met a tragic end in the lotus pond. Reborn, she refuses to accept her fate and instead approaches Rong Jianxue, a cold and restrained man who holds immense power at court. Pretending to be fragile, devising clever schemes, and using her tears as bait, she initially intends only to borrow his influence to survive and take revenge. But step by step, she makes this man, who strictly observes propriety, break his own rules and lose control for her. Just when she least expects it, the supposedly dead 'husband' is about to return to the capital, and her carefully planned game to change her fate spirals completely out of control.
