Hua Zhao's Shop Assistant Is Not Simple
Three years into her widowhood, restaurant manager Hua Zhao had just erected a chastity arch when three men claiming to be her deceased husband showed up at the same time. One was cold and taciturn, one sweet-talking and good at acting, and one had amnesia after an injury. Before she could figure out her husband, the arch shattered first. With an abacus click, Hua Zhao calculated: one hundred and twenty-three taels, forty-one taels each, to work off the debt first. From then on, the restaurant was in chaos, each of the three men hiding secrets, and Uncle Xie stepping up step by step to force her to hand over the shop. As the flaws in their identities emerged, the secret cellar tunnel tied into an old military provisions case. Hua Zhao had to both see through the impostors and guard her business and her right to choose.
