Using a floating island as his foundation, he accumulates power through miniature worlds on a chessboard. He subdues supernatural beings and gathers allies, but also attracts the hunting parties of ancient families. Facing the relentless pressure of the Leng family and conflicts between the two races of the ghost world, he lays traps at every turn and turns the tables by using his enemies' schemes against them.
