The Sect Cook Turns Out to Be an Earthly Immortal
Top swordsman Li Qiye, weary of slaughter, took his adopted daughter Xiao Doubao and hid in the Yunlan Sect, disguising himself as a sloppy drunkard. Having been taken in and sheltered in his early years of distress by Saintess Qin Zhuiyun, his peaceful days were shattered by the detention of the Demon Sect's daughter. As Demon Sect Asuras successively launched attacks and assassinations, Ah Qi intervened secretly multiple times, successively executing strong enemies in seconds and defusing sieges while intentionally concealing his edge. When the Saint Alliance made things difficult and seized treasures, he summoned his sword soul to display his strength, making the Nine Heavens Saintess submit. Even when Elder Kongshan led troops to invade, he casually executed him. The Sect Master intended to bring about his marriage with Qin Zhuiyun, but encountered interference from Chu Tiankuo, and news of the King of Extreme Night plaguing the world also arrived. Learning that Qin Zhuiyun needed to sacrifice her body with a crossbow to suppress demons, Ah Qi broke open the forbidden ground's seal and drew his sword to fight against destiny.
