The True and False God of Medicine: The Heiress Returns
Gu Qingyue, the heir to the Heavenly Healer Pavilion, is destined to become the God of Medicine. In her previous life, her adoptive sister, Gu Mingzhu, stole her prescriptions and falsely accused her of deceiving the emperor. Her biased parents and brother stood by coldly as she was ultimately executed in the great hall. Reborn at the moment when her mother falls gravely ill and Gu Mingzhu first steals her prescription, Gu Qingyue resolves to take revenge. Thanks to a special ability, Gu Mingzhu can always replicate Gu Qingyue's prescriptions. But Gu Qingyue lays trap after trap, exposing her rival with half-prescriptions, textual loopholes, and hidden tricks involving medicinal properties. When a plague breaks out in the city, Gu Mingzhu steals a fake prescription at the imperial palace's great medicinal orchid assembly, nearly poisoning everyone. Gu Qingyue instead saves the people by presenting an affordable remedy. Gu Mingzhu then impersonates the master of the Heavenly Healer Pavilion in a desperate attempt to turn the tables, but the real master arrives and exposes the truth.
