The Marquis Wants to Divorce His Wife Every Day
When Xie Chunjiao opens her eyes, she finds herself in the body of a gambler's newlywed wife, with not a single copper coin to her name and three troublesome little children clinging to her. When her husband's family tries to seize their food, she grabs a knife to protect the children. When the gambling den comes demanding repayment, she faces them alone. Ten years in the apocalypse have taught her one thing: crying is useless; only a strong fist is the real truth. But gradually, she discovers that the three skinny little monkeys in this wretched village bring her water, shield her from blows, and put the only meat they have into her bowl. Meanwhile, the spoiled Marquis who has returned to life in another person's body curses and grumbles, yet clumsily learns to fetch water, chop firewood, and soothe the children. She was once a lonely wandering soul, but amid the mud and hardship, she has unexpectedly found a family.
