The Critical Moment, Redemption on the Ruins
After losing his daughter, Duoduo, geologist Professor Chen Zhen is reborn three days before an earthquake. He tries to warn his ex-wife, Lin Xue, and the staff of Xingfu Elementary School, but they refuse to listen. After being mocked at the school, Chen Zhen decides to protect everyone. He sneaks into Duoduo's room late at night but fails to reach her, and Duoduo asks him to save everyone instead. On the day before the earthquake, Chen Zhen organizes an earthquake safety drill on the playground, but Lin Xue insists that the teachers and students return to their classrooms. In desperation, Chen Zhen damages the electrical system, causing a blackout to prevent the students from entering the school building. Ignoring his warnings, Lin Xue takes Duoduo into the building, just as a devastating earthquake strikes.

Dopo aver perso sua figlia Duoduo, il professore di geologia Chen Zhen rinasce tre giorni prima di un terremoto. Cerca di avvertire la sua ex moglie Lin Xue e la scuola elementare Xingfu, ma viene respinto. Dopo essere stato deriso a scuola, Chen Zhen decide di proteggere tutti. Si introduce di nascosto nella stanza di Duoduo nel cuore della notte, ma fallisce, e Duoduo gli chiede di salvare tutti.
