Xiaoman Human World
In the 1990s in an old industrial base in Northeast China, chimneys gradually grew cooler, but people's hearts remained warm. Zhou Hong, who was sharp-tongued yet tender, Lin Dayong, who was warm-hearted and protected his neighbors, and Yang Weidong, who was introverted and reliable, tied several households together with the warmth of everyday life, supporting one another amidst the turbulent waves of factory layoffs and transformations. The children grew up immersed in the sweetness of canned yellow peaches and the wind of the skating rinks. The youthful affections and growth struggles of Yang Bo, Lin Xiaoman, and Song Bei quietly sprouted, while neighborly bonds, family affection, and romance slowly warmed up among pots and pans. From the workshop to the Winter Olympic ice rink, they weathered storms with the resilience ingrained in Northeasterners, turning ordinary years into a warm human world of Xiaoman.
