Grandpa Sells Eggs to Support Gaokao Top Scorer
Shen Qinghe, a rural girl, lost her parents at a young age and was raised by her grandfather, Shen Shouyi, who supported her education by selling eggs. On the day of the Gaokao, she nearly missed the exam. After the results were announced, relatives spread rumors that she had skipped the exam and tried to seize her family's homestead. Her cousin was even pushed forward to attend the banquet celebrating the provincial top scorer and fraudulently claim the rewards. Just as the whole village waited to laugh at her, an admissions teacher publicly announced that Qinghe had ranked first in the entire province with an outstanding score of 732. Returning with crucial evidence hidden among her parents' memorial tablets, Qinghe exposed the truth about the misappropriation of her parents' compensation money and ensured that her parents' kindness in saving lives years earlier was finally repaid. In the end, she protected her family bonds and dignity, carrying her grandfather's hopes as she ventured beyond the mountains.
