Landlord Drives Me Away, Customers All Leave With Me
Hotpot restaurant owner Lao Chen has operated for many years. The landlord's daughter, turning green with envy at the business, raises the annual rent from 50,000 to 300,000 and invites an overseas famous chef, convinced that changing the person will still make money. Lao Chen stops negotiations, moves away his self-purchased equipment and base soup, and employees and regulars choose to follow. The old shop relies on packaging, competitions, and high-salary headhunting to find alternatives, continually failing due to looking down on taste, processes, and responsibilities. When the landlord father and daughter recognize their mistake and publicly beg him to go back, Lao Chen's new shop has already stood firm. This contest concerning storefronts, craftsmanship, and trust is ultimately answered personally by the customers.
