Arch-enemy Unexpectedly Fell in Love
Shen Mingtang braved the rain to deliver a high-fashion gown, only to catch her pretending-to-be-poor boyfriend Lu Chengxiao showing off a bet at a club and treating her as a joke, leading to a heartbroken breakup. After returning home, she met Pei Yanzhou, whom she knew in childhood, and was touched by his sincerity. From knowing each other to committing to each other, Pei Yanzhou guarded her all the way. Her ex-boyfriend begged on his knees for her to come back, but she had already married and become Mrs. Pei. In the end, Shen Mingtang held her personal grand show as a champion designer, took a curtain call side by side with Pei Yanzhou, emerged from hardship into sweetness, and lived to become her own light.
