The Bottom-Ranked Prince, Instead Becoming an Emperor for the Ages - Season 2
The Seventh Prince of Great Chu, Li Chengze, is recognized across the court and the commoners as a soft persimmon: his stipend is withheld by his elder brothers, he is locked out of noble families' doors, and even minor yamen clerks dare to give him attitude. But nobody expects that this prince, who never dared to speak loudly, suddenly looks like a changed person. He storms into the yamen to drag out scoundrels, executes aristocratic descendants in broad daylight, and even strips the Crown Prince of his python robe before striding away. The nobles of the capital curse him for going mad, border enemy generals laugh at him for sending himself to death, yet he charges single-handedly into the Northern Man army's tens of thousands. Everyone is certain he will not survive past tomorrow, but when tomorrow's sun rises, the ones who always die are the enemies.
