The Crown Prince Is Both Coy and Obsessive
One night, a border village was massacred and engulfed in flames. Qu Liuxi, a female physician, narrowly escaped death. Five years later, she enters the Eastern Palace as a civilian doctor, only to be recognized at a glance by Crown Prince Rong Chi. She once mistook him for a young refugee and cared for him devotedly. He searched for her for five years, becoming obsessively attached to her. The Eastern Palace has remained vacant for years, all because he has been waiting for one person to return. He feigns illness to seek her treatment, sleeps on the floor beside her at night, and disguises himself as a guard to follow her. With his almost obsessive protection, Rong Chi gradually breaks through her defenses. As turmoil over the succession intensifies and the old massacre case resurfaces, she goes from wanting nothing more than to leave to willingly standing beside him amid the storm.
